New York City-based NTT America, a global IT infrastructure services provider, won an award for improvements to its own facilities and has reorganized to further enhance services to customers. Its parent company, NTT Communications Corporation, has opened new data centers in the Asia/Pacific region.
NTT America chose Sao Paulo (Brazil) to launch its first PoP (Point of Presence) in Latin America because it is the business epicenter of this region, and the company is open to expanding its presence to other cities, Michael Wheeler, executive VP of NTT America's Global IP Network Business Unit, told RCR Wireless News.
